Yeah...its a pain, but meh, cost of life. Well, seeing it go down to the $272 level is much better then $417. And they intend to credit the account if any extra funds were taken.

Can I dare say corporate responsibility?

Oh and I tried the number you gave me thanks. I intend to still follow up on their website just to see

Here in Halifax, as with New Brunswick, insurance premiums have doubled within the last 2 years. They have even went so far as to deny people insurance or even revoke insurance because of paintjobs (tiger stripes). My insurnace rate in Ontario 2 years ago was 45$ per month for a 92 SSEi (over 25. married and no record). I got transfered to Nova Scotia and my premium doubled. This is simple PLPD nothing else. True, my premium is still under a hundred a month but a doubling or rates? The government of Nova Scotia is going to force the insurance companies to drop rates by 20 percent. They already did it New Brunswick. The companies claim that it is because of soft tissue injury claims here but the real reason is that they are still trying to recupe losses from the market crash post 9/11! Not our fault you guys had bad investments... So they are now taling about going no-fault (Ontario) or goverment run (British Columbia) Neither seem to be working well. BC had to raise rates because of bad investment. I say suck it up!!! Fire someone!! Oh wait, they are unionized government employees. Grrr...don't get me started with insurance companies!!! My 0.02$ worth

umm.. BC has the lowest insurance rate in Canada.. Ontario pays close to 500% ( according to paper more ). BC has public auto insurance ( that covers all the mandatory ins. needs and anything else people can go with the public NON PROFIT ins. company or a private one ). Insurance company has made over 3.3Billion dollars in the last 6 months in Ontario . But yet got our infamous Premiere Ernie Eves to allow them the hike rate ( cause they CONTRIBUTE ( BRIBE ) to his campaign ).. my vote is for Hampton who will start a public sector NON PROFIT insurance company for all the compulsury insurance coverage like BC. PEI is the only province that pays more then Ontario. I have a link at home where us Ontarionians can file a protest and sign a petition bout the insurance rate hike.. will post it when I can... back to the grindin whell for me

well, it appears the liberals won the election, so good luck on the private insurance thing. i heard if we went to private insurance though, the ministry that controlled it would have to be bigger the the health ministry. i'm pretty sure that might just affect or taxes. i wish i could jut buy insurance from the states.

Jimbo, glad you got it figured out. What a relief, eh?

I'm not going to depress you by telling you what I pay for full coverage (I carry full even though I own the car).

We're getting raped on insurance because of my wife'* driving record, and in the "wonderful" state of Kansas, if your married, your spouse HAS to be included on your insurance, even if she doesn't even have a driver'* license!! I have a PERFECT record, but still getting raped. It'* just wrong...
