"New to me" implies used. I'm thinking early 90s Sunbird.

Damn you guys are good, it is a Sunbird haha.

1990 Sunbird LE, 2.0L OHC I4, 5 spd, 95hp! lol it'* * huge change from the Bonne.

But it'* worth it for the gas mileage, and I am using the extra money from when I sell the Bonne to go to Germany in the spring, so it'll be totally worth it.

I'll have pics of the sweet ride tonight.

Watch the tranny on that thing. I know the J2000 I had was much older, but we ended up spending more to get the tranny fixed than we did for the freakin' car.... Probably because the previous owner thought it was a race car.

Ha, I was right. I used to have a red 92 with the 4 banger. That thing was a heap to me although it was almost rust free except the rear wheel lips. I bought it for like 900 bucks, after it had a head gasket done. About 2-3 months later the timing belt stripped! Then I had that fixed and the head gasket went again about 5 months later. So my bro and I did the gasket again. I put a cherrybomb turbo on it and everyone hated the raspy rap that it put out. LOL Needless to say it ran for about 2 years after that before the head gasket blew again! Good luck with yours.

OMG, I had a white '90 Sunbird Convertible. OMG, that was the WORST car EVER! It overheated CONSTANTLY because the waterpump, then the radiator, then hoses, hah, then it barely ran, hardly ever started, exaust fell apart, odometer stopped working at 89k, gages were whacky, radio went absolutely NUTS, brakes failed on the freeway, not once, BUT TWICE!!!!!!, the cooling fan shorted and caused overheating as well, then the powersteering pump died, hah, and THEN the the head gasket blew. nice. I GAVE that car away.

GOOD LUCK!
