If you are a regular seller on Ebay, say $1000+ a month in transactions, wouldnt it make sense to have a separate business contact, or at least a separate number?
The good thing about the internet is most people that do things like this have a short attention span, and it quickly ends. Then, change your numbers and don't publicly list personal information such as regular usage email accounts and personal numbers.

Make sure to talk to a detective IN PERSON. Ask them to come to your house so you can show them the evidence that you have(if you're smart) saved on your computer...
This guy is now pretty deep into Interstate Wire Fraud, Identity Theft, Harassment, and if you still have the message where he threatened you, you may even get him on Menacing.
In addition to calling the cops, CALL THE FBI. Most of what this guy has done are Federal crimes.

I just read this thread and maybe I missed something, but something seems odd to me. You said you contacted Ebay to file a complaint, and they closed his accounts, and through that process, he got your name, number and address from Ebay? And all you got from Ebay was his IP address? Something is wrong here. I have filed complaints with Ebay, and they give me the info on the person, including his address and phone number so I can contact the person directly and try and resolve this thing. You must have that information. If you haven't contacted the police now and give it to them. Document everything, including printed copies of the craigslist ads.
