Good thought. But as Dan said "if you can". Some states consider it illegal to record calls without the other parties' permission. Check with your state laws before recording calls.

o.k i will be reporting this to the police later today afetr i pick my lil one up from school and the wife from work to watch the kids..

but right now my major problemn is that my ebay account is suspended and i have no way to access the shipping info for the buyers who'* payment i have already recieved.. i have cahed there payments and need to send out there items before they come after me with a lawsuit..

I have already contact my local police department to look into the threatening emails and phone calls that I have been getting from the other user who I believe resides in Houston, Texas. wow i just got like 30 calls within a minutes time... this guy must be dreaming about me or something... it dont seem like this will be stopping anytime soon...i am so angry i have shut my phone service off for a lil while... :?

I'm at a loss here. I can't imagine why you are waiting till later to report this to the police. They do take phone calls don't they?

As a matter of fact, I can't imagine why you've let it go on this long. You may not get immediate results from the police (they are busy) but they will act and since identity theft is a criminal offense they may even treat it as a priority,you never know till you try.

You can file a complaint (harassment) with your phone company.

Don't you know all this?

I've had people'* phone service SHUT OFF for harassment in the past.

Your issues are beyond writing a letter to ebay. You need to speak with a REAL PERSON.

Call them. 800-322-9266. Press 0 at each prompt until you reach a human.

And quit wasting calories typing stuff here when you should be talking to the cops.

I'm learning quite a bit in this topic lol. I never personally believed in going and beating the living crap outta somebody because of what they did to you, because that'* no warrant that it won't happen in the future. I figure if I get the cops to pick em out on it... that'* a permanent solution.

Police in my area tend to be very unhelpful and lazy though. In a situation like this, I'm almost positive they would be no help to me. It'* been proven in the past. Out of curiosity, where would I go if I were unable to solve a problem through my local police dept?

You shoudl be able to contact your phone company and have the number blocked. Most will do this.
