Chevy is making a Trailblazer SS, but not a Twin Turbo, V8 baby! It'* fast..
The Pilot can be taken offroad, but sure, I know it'* not as capable as their GM counterparts. It'* more of a streeting SUV... you know how most SUV owners won't go offroad Not to mention, Honda'* build quality and reliability (proven... not opinionated)... Pilot'* thousands less than the Envoy. meh.
This twin turbo Trailblazer... I know about it. But with the lower, street-oriented suspension and big wheels, you just removed any off-road capability you had in the first place.
Actually, I revise my choice of the Pilot. Go go go Nissan Pathfinder
Element = Unbelievably (sp?) ugly

I just don't understand how they leave unpainted plastic on the car like that. On interiors i like the Dashes in GM vehicles normally. I don't want a nice soft leather on the dash, i want something i wont ruin by sticking something to it etc. Something that doesn't fade, etc.
Well i'm just throwing out the TT trailblazer cause i remembered it and it was cool. Trailblazer SS with V8 should be good too though...
Yes the element is worse then the aztec, didn't think i'd say it, but it'* got more plastic, and is more hiddeous.

um
vehicles built by GM/FORD/DODGE will have steel shells for a long long time... You know they all own steel mills and iron ore sites. The lower cladding on new avalanches... Do you think there arnt steel body pannels under that?

hmm
On my camaro and my duramax there are places built into the pastic dashes for extra things (switchs/ect) The soft plastic/vinyl dashes on my 92 and 87 toronado have no where to put switchs, so you couldnt wreck the dash if you tryed. What kind of honda has a leather dash? what kind of any car has a leather dash?

Rtizy cars have leather, well a lot of people at car magazines strongly voice their opinion of GM'* plastic dashes. I believe our camry has some vinyl or pleather on the dash.
You can get new Avalanches like they have been for a couple years, or in a silverado body style with the silverado front end and no plastic now.

The thing about GM dashes - they're functional, quite ergonomic, and work well, but compared to their competition of around the same price (and in some cases, cheaper) have plastic interiors as well, but done up nicely - they look higher quality and more cheerful. VW interiors, in my opinion, are way higher quality than the car that they're in... all the material is high quality and assembled very tightly
My 1985 Toyota dash is in perfect shape and has extremely great build quality... my Bonny, on the other hand, works, is in great shape, but push the fake wood and some of the plastic and it squeaks
I can very well live with the GM simplicty, however.
