I was gonna get one, but I dont think my providor carries Motorola, they do have Samsung which I've always liked. Now they're throwing me all kinds of free offers to upgrade the phone if I take a 3 year contract.

Which provider are you with Jim?

I'm with Bell right now but am ditching them in favour of Rogers. I have a Samsung A600 right now, which is a great phone, but I'm sick of Bell'* ****.

FYI for you Americans, Canadians have **** for selection in cell phones/providers. It'* estimated that Canada is about 5 years behind the US in terms of wireless service.

I had to buy mine outta contract so i had to pay full price for it, i really like it, but if i had it to do over agin, id prolly get the 551. I do love motorola though, ease of use, and such, and i do like my razr, not dissatisfied at all, cause the same places moms 400 doesnt work, mine doesnt work either, so i dont feel bad, i just wish i had the video function, however, i do like it alot, i can keep in my pocket at work, and noone knows its there, and it fits in my shirt pocket at my other job,

You can get a firmware upgrade for it, and that unlocks the video function.

Thanks for your input.

I'm coming in kind of late, but i just bought myself a new phone to replace my V300 (never had good luck with THAT). I got myself an NEC 535M. Dual color screens (65k color inside and out) and the inside screen is 2.2 inches. I directly compared it to a buddies RAZR and even he said he liked mine better. The RAZR only has a VGA 640x480 camera, the megapixel ones don't come out until spring 2006. Mines got a 1.3 megapixel (sxga 960x1280) camera with video record. 32 megs of built in memory, and all the features of the RAZR minus the bluetooth. I've only had the phone since tuesday but i'm already in love with it. Got it off eBay for $75 bucks.
