Uhmmmmmmm, BAHAHAHAHAHahahahahahahahaha.
I am a die hard old school Metallica Fan. But unfortunately, and like so many other gorups, you can only bend, twist, alter a certain "sound" so many times. AC/DC has probaly IMO done the best job of it. But ou can only replicate a "way a band Sounds" so many times. And it either gets stale, or you went to far off path it isn't what made you anymore. Alot of bands have done well over the years splitting up and hooking up with other people. Gives a whole new light on a person, group of persons talent.
