LT1 Gearheads, need your advice.

LT1 Gearheads, need your advice.
Now recently I have been really thinking about what I want to get to replace my 89.
On one end of the decision, I have been thinking about getting an Impala SS/9C1 Caprice.
Now I was looking into forced induction for the LT1 and found THIS link. Can any of you LT1 gearheads tell me if this twin turbo system would be even safe for an LT1? Or would I be better off stroking it or overboring it. Thanks for the input!

Get a 94-96 Buick Roadmaster. Better interior, tons of options, and cheaper than an Ipm SS. They weigh the same too, so the standard LT1 moves them 0-60mph in 6.8 sec in a Roadmaster.

Do they have the same rear discs and such?
Hmm, I was just looking into those roadmasters and I really think I still would like an Impy SS more. I like the interior more, i like the ext more...even if they do have an EXTREMELY high price tag.
I dunno, We'll see what car I decide on
LET ME REMIND YOU, THIS THREAD WAS ONLY ABOUT ADVICE ON DUAL TURBOS FOR THE LT1. THANKS.

I second the */C idea. That twin turbo setup is entirely impracticle imo, unless you are making money racing the car on the weekends. Otherwise you have a $16,000 daily driver that sucks gas like crazy.

Permanent mods done to the motor..welding a bung into the oilpan to retun oil to the pan after circulating it through the supercharger bearings. It can be easily plugged if/when the supercharger is removed. The electric Air Injection pump also gets moved (or in many cases just deleted) to clear room on the driver'* side of the block. All of the other accessories on the LT1 are on the passenger side of the motor. (alt, ps, and a/c)
