i got a old lawnboy lawn mower and its a 2 stroke and i added gas least week and now puts out a blue smoke all the time. i followed the direrction for mixing the gas and oil. i can per gallon. any ideas?
Unless that'* a really small can of 2cycle oil that sound like too much. Most are usually something like 1 can to 5 or 10 gallons of gas, I have yet to see one that is 1 to 1. Blue smoke indicates you're burning oil, so if the mixture is correct than you might have a bad piston ring or worse a bad cylinder.
its a nice mower too my mom bought it for me when i moved out on my own it is elf propled, side bagging, electric start(turn key and it comes on)sometimes. its a nice mower i dont want it to die but if it does im not gonna complain. i just wanna know what it is and how i can fix it if possible
i just went out to read the mix and i didnt see the 2 gallon. so it says mix i can of lawn boy oil via 2 gallons or gas so what can i do just burn though the gas or what? will it hurt my mower if i continue to use this gas?
