yeah, but I din't care for any Jeeps after they got rid of the 4.0.

I can see the military using this. It'* a cheaper alternative to the Hummer, and a more practical approach than buying vehicles meant for fleet duty. The turbodiesel will also be more at home in military service as well. It won't be the workhorse as the Willeys-designed JP was, and it definately will not be used in the frontlines, but for in-base operations (particularly the Air Force, Navy, and possibly the Army...I can't see the Marines using this platform unless its for carting around the CO/XO), it will take the load off the Hummer so it can be used for what it was intended to do...frontline work.

Now lets see how many of these will get the star on the hood

I still think that the 4 door version of a 2door product was a bad Idea.... and Ugly to say the least.

I don't think the U.*. is buying them. If they were, they'd be announcing it as a major contract.
