Congrats Petey! Working fulltime and going to college fulltime is demanding, but totally do-able. Ditchboy did it and has his car loan paid off, is paying his own way through college, and really appreciates things more.
Word to the wise... take advantage of living at home. You won't be around much anyhow...may as well keep the free room and board.
And DON"T spend your money before you get it. You will need gas money & food that you wouldn't normally spend. Set goals, save up, then spend it.

I wish that was an option, Tracy, but both the dealership and CS are 20 minutes away, so living at home would be a little hard. Besides, my parents want to see me be more independant (as in they want me out, haha). To be honest, I miss living on my own. Back at Xavier, I felt so free. I had everything the way I wanted it, with no one telling me to turn my music down or to clean up my room. Then again, I almost flunked out And believe me, I've learned my lesson with credit So I don't think that'll be an issue...
Thanks everyone for your support, it means a lot!!!!

20 mins? I wish that was how close work/college was. Seriously dude...you could save a lot of money... but, whatever! Just remember, freedom is not free in any sense of the word.
Best of luck Honey!

First day today, 9 to 5. A little bit of hazing, but not much. It really felt like a HUGE step up, because it felt like everyone was on the same level as everyone else. Management hung out with salesmen, they go out to play golf together, and there'* really not a rank barrier. They also accepted me rather easily, and we all went out to Chipotle together for lunch. There is a bit of competition, but it'* not really noticeable. I love this job... It feels really good to have a career of sorts.
