Hood Scoop Water Injection

Hood Scoop Water Injection
Yes it rains a lot on the coast and I've been driving my Trans Am with the open shaker hood scoop these last couple of weeks in the downpouring rain.
I've been noticing a bogging and stuttering missfire at WOT when on the highway particularly at revs above 3500. Very annoying and embarrassing when blowing by the competition.
I couldn't figure it out since all the plugs and electrical are new and worried it was carburation........
......until I took off the air cleaner to inspect and found it half full of water.
Seems it does not like water injection.
Back to driving the Jeep until the rain dies down to a drizzle, or I'll have to make up a block off plate. Another project....
