Tint laws are there for cop safety as well as yours. Not sure you want a cop coming to your window with gun drawn because they can't see inside. Dark Tint is also VERY hard to see out of at night and reduces your visual range. Wouldn't feel good to hit a kid on a bike because you couldnt see them.

I'm not saying all Tint is bad. It has its place, especially in the southern states where heat can cook a roast inside your car, but it doesnt need to be extremely dark.

That being said, I'm all for dark tint with a caveat that the car can't be driven at night.

Ontario law is 35% front side windows.. and no limits on rears and back..

So after I get all my mechanical issue resolved and if I decide to go tint.. thinkin either 35 or 30% fronts.. 15% rear side.. and mirror tint 15% rear for those ****'* who like to hi beam.. it'* RIGHT BACK @ YA FREAK !!

I had a 84 Nissan Maxima that I bought in '88 that had 5% all the way around and 95% titanium on the whole windshield w/a 8" wide strip across the windshield. The only spot that wasn't tinted was where the inspection sticker was.

I never had an accident but,yes there are those who just don't pay attention or want to hurt someone. The way society is today tint laws are a good idea but, they still suck!!
