Default weird popups

lately ive been getting popups via Windows built in Messenger Service....im not talking about Windows Instant Messenger....i mean the real simple utility used for Networking and whatnot, the one used with the "net send" command...i disabled the service and havent had any popups lately (duh), i just wondered if anyone else has had trouble with this?
