Some Rich People
really **** me off. They think they are above the law and can do as they wish. A buddy of mine instals sound systems in houses. Well, one guy he installed for is a lawyer. He has two houses and a E55 AMG. My buddy had to follow him to his lake house because he was transporting his 60in plasma. Meets the guy at a gas station and guess whos riding shotgun in the AMG? Oh, a 12 pack of Miller with 8 already gone and one in his hand. He tells my buddy he drinks because of his wife. So they take off to the lake house and rich boy spots a Viper. So, on a hilly road with the worst blind intersections and driveways, he gets in the oncoming lane in a no passing zone to race him doing 120 in a 55 zone. My buddy is in the delivery van doing 85-90mph and the AMG is out of sight in a minute. The Viper just backs off because even he knows this guy is stupid.
Nothing like drunk driving street racing and being a lawyer.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say being a drunk idiot has nothing to do with being rich. Doing it in an AMG, now that is because he has $$.

Grimm, unfortunately it kinda does. it'* definitely not a requirement, though. When I was an MP, at leats once a week you'd pull someone over and the first thing out of their mouth would be "I am Colonel or General So-and-So'* wife/daughter/son and..." "Well, that'* nice. Make sure you get my name right when you whine to him" (Clonel and General is "rich and powerful" in the Army)
Once I got out, I was doing ceramic tile. We worked in a lot of high dollar (up to multi-million) houses. Some of them rich so-and-so'* would spend all their time around us bragging of their exploits and usually showing proof of how their lawyers got them off. The worst were the lawyers. One, a third generation lawyer, actually had pictures hanging on the fridge of burn outs on the freeway in the middle of the day. His speedo at close to 150 MPH, with recognizable landmarks in view through the windshield. Him and his drunk *** friends doing stuff in and out of their cars that would get the rest of us locked up.
The whole experience kinda turned me off of the whole "I wanna be rich and famous" idea if that'* how the rich acted....
