I was on a delphi tour and they said they were doing research for E85 injectors because the ethanol is corossive and if the injectors dont have some special coating them the plastic will literally get eaten away by the ethanol.

Yeah few stations have done that around here....but also a few have run out of gas , the 7-11 nearest home was out of gas 2 or 3 times in the last week or so

We have about 15 gas stations around here (no kidding, no exaggeration), but I only use 2, and as far as I know, neither have changed to Ethanol. My uncle used to work at an Ethanol plant. I'll figure out more for y'all if you want.....

Although all the rubber seals, the plastic fuel injectors, and your engine oil may be damaged.

Of course you can eat metal. Why do you thing you have to rustproof it...
Acids or electrolosys does a wonderful job. Did you know that the iron in your blood is the same iron they make cast iron pans from?
