so easy.

1*250 = 250, subtract 250 = 0
80*250 = 20000
20000 /2 = 10000 which just moves your first three digits over 4 digits. gasp.
last four digits of your phone number + last four digits of your phone number = 2*last four digits. divide that by two and you get... last four digits of your phone number
so in essence, that problem had you:
take the first three digits of your phone number, multiply by 10000, and add the last four digits of your phone number. 5th grade math.
