Dont like it at all, it looks like a rebadged LaCrosse with a few Pontiac gratuitous masculine lines in it. Hope its a) an artist concept that went in the trash can , and b) The GP follows the styling of the upcoming Camaro/ Whatever they rebadge is as for Pontiac. GM really ought to get they heads out of their butts and make each Division put out specifically for a particular interest group. Such as Chevy- for the masses, Pontiac- sports and performance, Buick- Midscale luxury- Cadillac- top level luxury, GMC- trucks, suv'*, utility vehichles. Instead they try to make each Division appeal to all and pretend to give choices with badge re-engineering. With the losses they are continually suffering (and it is tremendous) GM is going to become Holden and just another import.

Actually it just reaffirms what I'm saying. They take a very costly engineering project and triple compound it by re-egineering it three times to supposidely garnish a bigger share of the market. Ford is kicking their *** hands down and with One model, and when i go to town i see so many new Mustangs its a joke.
As well I must play Devils advocate to Wills good as gold statement. I have heard this G8 good news since 2002, and old enough as well to see GM balk for yet more years many times and throw Millions into concepts and suddenly toss it all in the trash because of the upper level shake ups they have become infamous of.
And Why???? do this on a midsize chassis. They have a so many mid size variances now that it doesnt make sense. Jeeez they might has well call it a G6/A or G6 and a !/2. The guy said one thing I agree on. Some of the public wants a choice of BIG 60-70'* style Muscle cars. They already have a large group of midsize entries that import sales figures show are putting GM in the poor house and I doubt power and a RWD config are going to help stop the hemmoraging. They are going to take a good idea and rebadge it into debtors prison.
