That method is more along the lines of furl injector cleaning. There'll be instructions on the can for top end cleaning.
Basically you let about 3/4 of the can get succked into a vacuum line, Usually the brake booster line, while the engine is running (obviously) Use care not to stall the engine until you get near the 3/4 mark then let it stall by sucking in too much at once. Let it sit, 5,10, 15 minutes (I forget how long) reconnect he vacuum line then start it up. Heres where the fun starts
