I believe that the lower control arms are alluminum, but like stated the subframe is steel..
If memory serves I have seen the W bodies with the alluminum subframe( spaceframe )..
Looks like someone was replacing a Cady 4.6 .... How many miles was on it and what happened to it?

It had 160,000 on it and the headgaskets blew. The owner had the gaskets replaced at a different shop and they leaked again almost right away. He then brought the car to my shop and I put in a new engine for him today.
