I wanted a set of remotes for the Bonne, and I saw a set of new ones. I wanted them both , and didn't want to pay any more than 50. At the end, it got close to 50, and I learned there were at least 2 others trying to be a Mad Sniper like me, and were bidding too much at the last 10 minutes...lmao...

I quickly open the main "refreshing" page, and I open 3 others with bids ready to go...in the amounts of 50.01... 51.51..... and 52.55 As it turns out, I would have lost the auction if I had used a service with the 50.00 bid amount. My internet is fast, and I can refresh the e-bay pages in 2-3 seconds, so, I can safely bid 5 seconds before it ends, and I gotcha... The added penny, or nickel is a good tactic too. If you bid 50.00, and I bid 50.01....I get the high bid... This is the remotes: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT

I also sniped the bonne in my feedback , but the guy and I agreed that he wanted more for the car, and I was going to spend too much to get it to me...

I'm glad that all worked out, because I found the one I have now, in maryland, which turned out to be only about a thousand miles, round trip.

I sniped my Caprice last year...I wanted to bid 3200, but at the end, I suspected another guy who was bidding, was going to bid 3200, so, I quickly added 6 cents to my bid. That car was 5 hours away from here, and when I got there, we re-negotiated, and I paid 2600.

Lol, I'm more forward online, I guess. In person, I'm shy to a point...but I'm no way, no how gonna let people walk all over me. I'm one person you don't want to cross...some have been suprised to find that out.

I was the high bidder so im thinking.oh well I guess I bought a car.
then out of nowhere BAM somebody outbid me.
whew now like an hour later the seller emails me to tell me the high bidder
backed out and I can have the car for my price.
to bad sucker
Yes, that happens to us quite often...primarily on snowmobile and car parts/accessories....the ****'* bid last minute with a 0 feedback name, realize nobody had entered a higher max bid, then realize they screwed themselves. We never accept second chance offers from these dinks.
