Okay, you picked your bone, but I don't know if it was the best of things for you to compare to Lexus: The Aisin A340E RWD transmission used since the late 80'* (and its newer descendents are only better) are among the stoutest and smoothest trannies out there

My friends has a TL nice car. Rides and driver very good its an 2004 but I like my 2005 SLE alot better. It is a little bigger inside and rides better in my opion plus, I like my low OHV V6 exhuast note better than his high revving SOHC V6! A good car, and at least its a Honda... They have the good imports... The day Toyota builds a car like this is the day I want to die... Toyota just doesn't have a very good lineup! They stink... Now that this is covered?

The only tranny problem Ive ever had with any of my GM'* or infact in my family was my cutlass when the trans went at 193K. I guess ive been very lucky. :? The HD trans doesnt stand up well to the L67?

not the 4t65E HD but the 4t60 E HD which came in the series ! L67 is said to be much better. Mine is great now, stronger then ever also!! now that it has been rebuilt.
