Smile Hello Friends! I'm new here as of right now.

Good Evening!

I just found a problem with my 2004 Buick Park Avenue Ultra. I felt very bad shaking while driving 70 mph on our local I-64 interstate highway today. Once back home,I put my car up on my auto ramps and found both front-end sway bar links broken in half! How dangerous is this condition?

Thank-you!

Jim Smith

Welcome to the thread. I would replace as soon as you can. They help in taking corners by keeping the vehicle level.

Jim,

welcome to the forum. I drove with broken front sway bar links for months on the same platform, no issues to report. recommend you get then replaced sooner than later, but I would not worry too much unless you are doing some out of the normal driving.

not real serious as mentioned, and not likely your issue. vibrations are normally tires/bearings/rotors, something like that

Welcome Jim, would get the end links replaced, and also have tires balance checked, etc
I know on my Pk Ave I discovered a balance weight was off the front tire and vibes in front were noticeable at around 70mph....

The vibrations may have caused the links to break. Don't assume that the first issue you find is the solution
