Thanks for all the feed back! More confused now then I was before though as I was all set to trade my car in. I wonder if the other employees don't care. Unfortunately I can't really check out the parking lot as it is thousands of miles away in Pontiac.

I do love driving my car , but I guess I have to figure out if I'm going to feel guilty everyday when I go to work. The GM employee discount on the Cruze does not make it a super attractive option as it is not very much, and the PEP cars are more expensive than a brand new car (weird considering they are used). Once again thanks for the feedback. I'll keep my out for those cars

Welcome!!

It doesn't matter what you drive....but if you're worried about what others think, just know that it'* those that don't drive what they build/sell that continue on all those stereotypes that I'm sure you've heard before from non GM ppl. Such as "see, GMs must suck, even their own employees don't drive them!!", and "how do they expect us to buy their cars, when they won't even buy their own??". Other employees really don't care though.

Although it is good to practice to support your own, you can drive whatever you want. You're not the only one who doesn't have a GM there. We used to joke about how technicians at the various dealerships here drive something other than what they work on. At Hyundai, most drive Fords, at GM, they drive Hondas, at Ford, those that don't own a Ford, own Mopars. My father worked for each of the big 3, and made it a point to drive what each offer.

Default I got a Chevy :)

I took one more test drive of the Cruze on Friday, and honestly, I don't know why I didn't love it the first time. I will miss my old car, but went ahead and got the Cruze on Saturday. It is an AWESOME car. Wow, the Cruze feels amazing everytime I get in it. This is a car I can feel good keeping for a decade, barring any problems. Won't constantly be thinking about the other one.

Best of all, being that the Cruze is an important part of GM'* future, I'll feel good everytime I go to work. Thanks for all the input once again everyone.
