Nice! So they did Olympic Edition Bonneville'* in both 1992 and 1996. Interesting.
There is an green Olympic Edition Bonneville SE with the gold anodized SE 16" rims (not crosslaces, but the 10-spokers that was the standard 16" rim from 1992-1995) here in town. It has the Olympic Symbol on both the front doors where it would say Bonneville SE. It'* the only one I've seen around in the past few years. There used to be 2 here in Sauk Centre and 1 in Melrose, a town about 10 miles away.

I also, remember seeing advertisements in Car & Driver back in 1992 as well as on TV.
I remember how the Bonneville made me drool back then. Kind of ironic that I ended up owning one as I never pictured myself with one (too expensive at the time anyway for a 12 yo kid LOL) as my family at the time was diehard Mopar, except the 1987 Buick Regal 3.8L my oldest brother had.

Back in those times I was 4 years old. I wasn't even in this country. (FYI: I came to US in September 2001)
In the summer of 2004 I was looking for a used car for my sister. I found someone who had a 1992 Bonneville SE. But he was selling his wife'* 1996 Bonneville SLE, since he got her a Durango.
But anyway,.... I fell in love with it. And I got it for me, instead of for my sister. She actually didn't want it anyway. (She thinks it'* a "guy'*" car). But she likes the way it looks.
Right now I have the Bonnie that you see below, my sister has a 1998 Buick LeSabre. (She loves it)
