Default still getting compliments

bunch of us were down in boji for the 4th tonight, i was sober cab, and since i had the best looking vehicle, we drove mine
averaged around 100mph, topping at 142mph on the way there
car was parked, fireworks were done, i was loading coolers back into the trunk. guy yells over from about 30 ft away, slowly walking up...

him: nice car!
me: thanks man
him: what is it?
me: bonneville
him: oh yeah? i like the rims (goddamn they were shiney tonight)
me: stock
him: what?
me: they are the stock rims
him: wow, what year is that
me: 2000

small talk unrelated to cars from then on.. but i was still proud... even with the tires

the tires aint as bad as you think they are.. imo they're not the best looking but who cares, the car is still gorgeous.

the tires mean nothing.

thats probly the kind of thing you only notice at a certain angle....well not you....but anyone else that doens't know the car...and owner of a car sees all the imperfections in/on it, a viewer may see the huge obvious things but generaly dont see it untill its pointed out

A lot of people don't believe that my car is a 1995. If you look back on cars from that time, they were all square with no real features.

Also a lot of people think my rims are not stock, being gold. It goes well with the gold pinstripe though.

GM hit on a bunch of good looking cars during the nineties, the Bonnie SSE/SSEi especially. The STS, Aurora, 96+ Olds88, 97+GrandPrix, and the 97+ Park are also good examples.
GM really hit the cutting edge with the 92 Bonnie, and again

GM had a bunch of good looking cars through the nineties. The 92 Bonnie set every body in the industry scrambling to keep up, then they busted everybody again with the Aurora and Riviera. The last gen Bonnie was the best looking of the new more angular cars on the market.

It probably doesn't hurt that you're completely neurotic about cleaning that thing either
