Moved the filter today.
Moved the PCM out of the way.
Then pulled the EVAP canister.
Moved the PCM over here.
Now I have a nice hole to run the hose threw.
Here we are, all in place.
Keeping this clean is going to be a pain.
Had to pick up 2 more hose clamps. Had to put the 2 hoses I had together.
When I get a chance I'll order a new hose so it'* not spliced together.
So I go out for a drive, all is running great. I did a small WOT, right after that I get a SES light, and the trans is running in 3rd gear. By the time I turn in to the driveway the trans is slipping bad. I think I killed my trans. Now I'm pulling that a bit sooner then I thought.

Well, did a little testing. Trans moves fine in reverse, but slips in all forward gears, even if it'* shifted all the way down to 1st. I'm also getting a P1860 code TCC PWM solenoid circuit electrical. Because I had just moved the PCM, I felt there was a chance that a wire had broke, so I tested them all. No broken wires.
Oh well, it was worth a look. Guess I'm pulling the trans a bit sooner then I thought, 2 months sooner actually. Don't really have all the parts on hand, yet. But I have a hardened input shaft lined up, just waiting to finalize that. Bill is shipping a rebuild kit, so I will have all the IO rings and gaskets. I have a new torque converter and flex plate, as well as a new hardened 4th gear input shaft. I believe this is the part that went out. I also have a set of 3.29 gears and 3 sets of transfer chains. Only thing I will need to order is a new set of 4th gear clutches, no big deal there. Should have all parts on hand by next week. So I'm dropping the sub frame and removing the transmission this week. I'll get it mounted on the stand and open it up. Once the parts come in, it all goes back together and put back in the car. Should be back on the road in a week and a half.
Pulled a few things out of the way. Look at all that room.

Ya, kind of a bummer. Oh well, I'll just be doing this a little early. I was able to pick up a hardened input shaft and just ordered the 4th gear clutches. So looks like I have everything. Also helps that I have two extra transmissions here. So I have spare parts a plenty. Kind of interested in seeing what that input shaft looks like.
