Way to show them what true power means. But honestly u shouldn't of reved, u should of just played it cool, go into sleeper mode u know. Then when the light turns green and the ricer moron thinks he gonna smoke your bonneville arse u show them what the bonnie is made for and that is destroying rice. U did what I want to do with my car, install a turbo. Cause there are alot of cars around here I want to pull up next to, in sleeper mode, and blow there doors off also. It would of been funny if he had no idea u had a turbo and him having this fantasy that he would smoke you and then you smoke him and seeing the look on his face after knowing he got blown away by an 88 bonnie, damn nothing better then that. What was the car that decided not to race u? I want to know.

yeah, hell I would of loved to be right next to him on a three lane street while ur right next to him, and he can watch as two old school bonnies blow his doors off, that would be funny, but damn priceless. If that ever happened, I would have my turbo in my car also. God that would be funny, I need to move to a place where the people who own bonnies are actually would respect me live. Where do u live man? I really want to see these pics of this turbo'd bonnie, I bet it is something very special, plus I have never seen a turbo'd bonnie either, except for when I get my turbo in.

edit: it is worth noting though, that while an LS1 Z28 Camaro will back down, a Del Sol with a fart pipe things he can take me. hmmm, 1.8L vs. 6.6L (actually 6.9, but the shaker still reads 6.6) My bets on the jap trap, yea!

Did you know the LS1 is the first true GM Corperate V-8. The head design came from the Pontiac design for the Ram Air IV or V, which ever one never made production.

Ram Air V never made production, I have Ram Air IV heads on my car (pilfered from a goat)
I didn't know that, that'* cool! All I really know about that motor is that it'* all aluminium and 320+hp
edit: actually the Ram Air V was available in crate motor form in 303ci and 400ci sizes, A 455 was experimented with and spawned the '73-'74 455 Super Duty... just some useless info to take up space in your brain

I can't find the article about the LS1 being the first true corperate V-8 but I believe it is in the Febuary 2001 issue of High Performance Pontiac.
