honestly i would not feel comfortable going that fast, its just dumb that they put a higher speed on the speedo than the car will actually go...110 is plenty fast, and i cant think of a situation where you would NEED to go that fast..in all reality no car in the US should be able to go above 75...but thats not the way it is thank goodness.

i think gm put 140 on their so kids think it really goes that fast.

i guess it all boils down to dash design, if my speedometer were to end at 110, the actual top speed of the car(unconfirmed) then there would be this large open area in the dash! they might have to fill it with an oil pressure gauge or an voltage gauge even! the horror i tell you!!
