Default Clear rear

Hey there, new to the list but not to Bonnevilles. Just upgraded from a 2000 SLE to an '02 SSEi. It had been on the lot so long, that I got it cheaper than the previous one. Now my payments are lower per month, and I have all of the options plus a new warranty.

Anyway...has anybody ever come across clear lenses for the rear of the late model Bonnies? I know that'* a lot of plastic, but I am curious. If not, has anyone ever lit the entire rear? Either way would seem like a cool mod.

Welcome to the Club!

I doubt they make any clear lenses for them. I'm sure they can be made clear. I know there'* a member who made his 94 (or 95...don't remember the member ) clear. But I would be skeptical of how it looked. But it may look better on certain colors. Lighting the whole back would actually be cool

Yeah that'* it! I couldn't remember.

But they look really good on his. White looks good with them. They would look bad on mine though. But I'd have to see it first.

Green and clear goes together. I can picture that. Like jwil said, just might have to get the red bulbs.

Chili, U might wanna wait until the new GXP bonne comes out; They have a clearer "smoked" tail light, I think that would be a better direction to go.......
