My son changed his out to Bose sound and it still sounds about the same as mine. I don't see a need in changing mine cuz I can crank it full throttle and still have crisp clear thumpin' music.

My front door speaker begin to distort when I crank up the volume too high... but I would imagine the distortion is from "clipping", which would be cleared up by adding a small amplifier. I wouldn't mind adding a 10" or 12" single subwoofer as well, just for that extra kick... though I am already impressed at the bass response from the stock 6"x9" speakers in the rear dash!

It seems if you had component speakers but not bose you're better off then the "premium sound systems". They use weird powering and blow easily. Most don't play any louder... :?
Acousticrap? Oh that'* their homeline atleast Jim, your stereo is good for stock, it'* very clear, but again, it doesn't loud... Dunno why either.
