Would you buy these for your car?
I didn't get my struts on yet but I will try to have them on this weekend if possible, unless I buy these then I'll have to wait until I get them. My question is would you buy something like a tie rode on ebay? The only reason I want to replace them (and I'm thinking ball joints as well) is because I can see that the rubber on the outter tie rods are dried up and have cracks in them. Not all the way through yet but since I'll have to due an alignment after the struts are on I figure I might as well make it worth while.
Here is the auction

**** Is their anything else I should check or consider while I'm at it? I'm doing both front and rear struts and this is for the 95 **** Thanks

I wouldn't hesitate to buy suspension parts from eBay, as long as they are a good brand. I trust TRW for tie rods ends/ball joints. I don't know about "Chassis500 Brand" but the price looks good..actually pretty low. Suspension parts are something that you don't want to go cheap (quality) on. Afterall, TRW parts are not expensive compared to the lower quality ones.
If you're doing the struts too, I would also replace the ball joints. They are inexpensive also, and if yours are original (210,000?) I'd do it as the front will be torn apart anyway. They say "if it isn't broken don't fix it," but for $35 a piece, new ball joints vs 12 year-old ball joints are a good investment IMO. You could inspect them first, but I'd personally just replace them.

That'* what I'm thinking, replace it while I got it apart. I just wanted to see if these are worth buying and to make sure I don't overlook doing anything while I got it apart. Yes it is 210 original miles on it.

After doing some research, I'd say that brand is just fine. I guess Coni-Seal (pictured) is a major brake part manufacturer who expanded to suspension parts under "Chassis 500 Brand." For $50 I'd grab all inner/outer TR ends.
