It'* a sad sad sad sad day....
Yeah, my graduation buzz is completely dead now... I just got headers and duals for my bonne, so a friend wanted me to rev... Well.. I did, and killed my car. The engine started clicking and apparently I had over revved (no tach) and knocked a rod either loose or completely blew it off. The bonne isnt expected to 'live' for much longer.
Needless to say, i'm pretty pissed off.. and very sad. I just spend money on the car, and I kill it.
Anyway... I need a good place for rebuilt/used engine blocks. I want another 305 or maybe move up to a 350, but if anyone has a good site.. let me know.[/code]

sorry to hear that. You put so much money in then it all goes down the drain so easily.....
At least you are moving up with possibly a 350

Although 305 parts are everywhere too. Why not to a high performance rebuild? A new cam, pushrods, and head set, and you're good to go.
If some lower parts are damamaged stroke the damn thing

Start by making phone calls in your local area, I think you can find someone who will install a new block with warranty for $1000 easy. Might even get it for $750?
