A 180 Thermostat and fan override will prevent that from ever happening. And a cooler engine runs with more power and more efficiency.

no, my oil is at 40psi or a lil lower in idle. im talking about the tempuratue alone. And if my motor was going out, im going to get another one. this car is staying as is.

my 90 inches to that when it idles for a few minutes, but as soon as i tap the gas it goes back down so i dont worry about it too much, it has a new thermostat, water pump, and radiator, and my oil pressure got that low before right when it threw a rod on the highway
