interchange question
is the riviera harmonic balancer and timing cover the same as the bonnevilles?
because i dont feel like swapping the front part of the engine agian. and it would save me money on gaskets...

Should be, there was a part number change around 00 to give them a little more harmony..I've run both balancers on one motor. I'd run with it and not worry.

It'* easy to see your point though with the year of the motors not being stated. Heck.. someone would probably see that it'* a 90 Bonneville and overlook the Series 1 altogether to assume it'* an early 90i motor we are talking about when it'* actually a couple of Series 2 motors going into a swapped car.
