If the heater core wasn't DOA on the old 'Chief, I'd still drive 'er in the winter. Seriously, though, if someone wanted it for parts or to restore (she'* pretty beat up, cosmetically), I'd cut 'em a smokin' deal. I just don't want to see it hauled off for scrap metal (yet) or wind up in a demolition derby (where she would undoubtedly RULE). It has a lot of salvagable parts, the tinted glass alone is probably worth $500 - it'* perfect. Engine runs great, :? although it probably needs a tune up. Tranny is perfect (no leaks). It has a huge 3-core radiator (prized among the GTO crowd, I understand)...
Anyway, if someone were looking for parts or a project, I'd sell her cheap. Like I said, though, I won't sell her for the demo derby! If it were summer, a guy could fly out and drive it home - everything works but the heater. Just need a temporary registration, insurance, and a gangsta roll of cash for gasoline 'cause it only gets about 10 mpg. But she'll do 120 without batting an eye. ...or so I've been told
Ahhhh - sorry, looks like I hijacked another thread.

The Buick dealer has a 1963. It was given as as a gift to the owner of the dealer because he opened as a Pontiac/Buick dealer in 1963. Its in pretty good shape. I see it around town every so often. Its pretty nice.
