The 3.4 has 210 horse (if it'* the same as the early GTP'* and Z34'*), and my 1993 SSE had 170. The Series II has 205, so the Camaro lost 5, but the Bonneville gained 35. Easy guess for me based on my experience. When we raced we raced from 0-100 and when I hit 100 he was about 3/4 car length behind me. Not to mention your car is an SSE, so there is about 200 lbs less than my old SSE.

The difference between winning and losing will be driver abilities and engine modifications. If it'* a stick might beat you stock for stock. If Auto then its more equal.

i had a 95 v6 camero....but i baught it with a race chip a..intake and nice exaust....in short it came stock with 205 hp....with enhancements..it was running about...240 in race mode...which was pretty impressive for the 3.4. i could sit on the breaks and stomp the gas..it would sit and spin till i would let of of it...so..with enhancements the 3.8 camero might be a little better than the bonniville....also i believe the camero is lighter..it is all fiberglass...

3.4'* in camaros were 160 hp. the 210 hp was a DOHC in luminas nd GTP'*. Corvettes are mad of fiberglass, not camaros
But, while we're on the topic- an associate of mine has an slp firebird gt i think theye called. It'* a firebird with a 3800 and a trans a dual exhaust which adds 5 hp says the slp website. i know he has an automatic. do you tnk i could beat him if he go a crappy lanch and i got a decent one?

Have to say Camaro...
0-60 Camaro - 7.3
1/4th mile - 15.5 (or so)
3.8 F-bodies are bad ***... tied my friends Taurus SHO... I dont care what any of you say... the SHO can beat us ALL stock for stock and mod for mod, SHO embarises 5.0 litres and a 98 GT Rustang ( he dead tied the 98GT)... still shameful for the stang
