Is this bad
when I start my car my boost gauge doesnt sit at negitive 10 it sits at negitive 7. It stills goes in to boost just fine and still drives the same but the gauge dosent sit at negitive 10. Can someone tell me why its not going all the way back down. Thanks.

It'* fine. A car'* IDLE needs vary depending on temps, plug conditions, and such. Say it gets any higher, then I'd worry a little about a problem.
Some run at -10, some a little above. Mine'* a little above, 8ish. Sometimes it goes to -10 at idle.
If it has changed, you can try spraying TB cleaner at/near vacuum lines and connections for the EGR. If the idle ever changes, it would show a vacuum leak. If the idle gets down below 1000 when warm, it wouldn't be a bad leak, but I'd look into fixing it anyway.

Thanks for all the infomation. I dont think its a vacum leak cause today when I drove it it stayed at -10 just fine. Thanks again

Can someone tell me why its not going all the way back down.
As you open the throttle plates during acceleration the vacuum level with drop.
Closing the throttle at higher engine speeds will produce the maximum amount of vacuum.

Just to make sure its working properly drive down the road at oh about 70-80mph, and let off the gas and drop the shifter down into 2nd. I bet it says -10 then....
