If you don't know when it was done last, do it now. There'* a procedure up in Techinfo on it. To check it, just remove the plug. The oil should be just touching the lowest thread in the plug hole.

The plug is located on the supercharger on the passenger side, closer to the firewall. Little hex-head plug. Can't miss it. Just behind the nosedrive.

The owner'* manual recommends that the supercharger oil level be checked every 30,000 miles. I check mine every 10,000. In addition, some people change out the oil every 50,000 miles. I changed mine at the 120,000 mile mark.

It'* longevity is a function of how well it is maintained, and how agressive your driving style is. In addition, the earlier superchargers (92-95) used to leak supercharger oil, adding to their demise.

Definitely check it as soon as possible. When my car was brand new I checked it just for the hell of it and it was 1/4 of a bottle low.
