Default Help.... Trans Temp install

ok so ive got my trans temp gague and looked through the bag of supplies and am wondering what i exactly do..... I know that the sender attaches to the top of the trans but I cant figure out which one of the fittings that I have goes in there. Does the sender go in the trans vent hole? or what??

pics would help alot

My bad bud. I got your PM, but my inbox got overrun during WCBF and the aftermath. You see the little hex plug? You have to get the sender in there. You'll have to go to the plumbing supply place with your sender to get adapters to mate. I did that too. I had to use a 45° coming out, then a bushing to adapt up from there. It'* a tinker-toy arrangement, but it'* necessary to clear the crossover pipe heatshield.

There'* also a Techinfo article on this subject

yea I read the Techinfo and the sender didnt fit into the pressure port so I figured that i needed an adapter of some sort, I just wanted to make sure that it was correct
