Default help

For god sake it took me three hours to figure this site out but I am here so I am going to ask my question here. I have a 2000 pontiac ssei and the passenger side windows do not work either do the locks and when you open the doors the lights won't come on. The drivers side can't even control them. I thought it was a fuse but someone told me a door regulator or module it could be. So I have been looking for a prices and I can't even find the dang name is there another name or could someone give me an estimated cost i would really appreciate it greatly.

Thanks

Welcome, Wendi! Though this diagnosis hasn't come up for Bonnevilles, you might be the first to have weak wires. It probably takes about that long, anyway. What I think happened is that over time, as the doors kept being opened and closed, the wires wore out. Maybe just a couple wires, but that could be enough. Please try a few other things first since this is a bit tedious, but you could pull back the boot connecting your chassis to your door and see if there are any broken wires in there.

Also, you'll receive email notifications about people posting in this thread, and it will be business as usual, but your thread has been moved to the correct section. This still behaves the same as if it were still posted in the lounge. By being here, it will get attention from knowledgeable people who stick mainly to this area.
