Flickering dash

i just got a new dash and my isues are fixed never went through the trouble of looking for the grounds due to the fact that everything elts works finr hud speedo tach and all lighting never flicker so i just went for a new dash and wala now i can watch my boost agin

ya mine is digital so it is either on or not sorry didnt know it was related to other thread or i would have stayed out but my 93 SE had no prob seeing the odo in the dark it lit up well

Boosty shot me a new headlight switch and my dash lights are again bright.
Since I have twilight sentinel and thus never use the headlight switch, I think that lets crud build up on the contacts.

Update on dash.
Well it looks like I need to find another dash. I removed it cleaned all contacts and reinstalled it. Checked all of the grounds and started it up - my dash worked!!! - for about 5 min. until it warmed up - ping and all guages (except the tach and speedo) go dead. Took it all out again and cleaned it and looked for bad solder joints. Put it back in, worked again for about 5 min.
This is the pattern it repeats now, when it is cold in the morning it works fine, as soon as it heats up they go dead. Bad component in a circuit card I assume.

Having pulled one of these dashes apart many times. There are many spots to look at and reflow.
I wouldn't waste time trying to get the smaller ones. Aim for the main power coming into the dash and ground first. Especially at the connectors going into the main PCB.
