lol ok after all this confusion, on the 2003 SE which is black ill maybe see how it looks if i can pick up a rear bumper cover somewhere

There are a few 00+ SE'* running around here with SLE/SSEi rear and/or front bumpers.
Some SE'* in certain colors look better than others with the SLE/SSEi bumpers (i.e. I find Silver is most forgiving with the chrome striped SE door trip and the non-chromed SLE/SSEi bumpers). Darker colors will contrast the chrome stripe and unless you do both bumpers on the dark color I wouldn't do it honestly.

That'* my opinion though. To each his own.
