A whale tail lends itself to square lines, something that the Bonneville forgot how to do in '92. Even then, I would need to have flat taillights, which means 86 would be the last year I would even consider the idea.
You know what looks really nice with a whale tail? A mid 80'* Lincoln.

I shouldve used the proper name, I figured If the spots for the bolts arent close to the bonneville trunk then I could get a spoilerless trunk and make holes... I think it would look pretty good.

Or just drill new holes and fill your current ones...The are small enough I (or somebody) Should be able to fill them with a mig welder if done properly..then smoothed out and made disapeer

oh yeah that would be easier... why doI always think of expensive ideas.... speaking of, would it help performance at all if I made vents to let hot air leave the engine bay and cold air enter while driving?

Not that would be noticable if any at all...It cools from the air coming in from all the nooks and crannys and the enormus open space underneath...As you drive the incoming air will push the ambient air(heat) out the back as new air flows through the engine bay if that makes any sense
