abs lite on (fixed)
abs lite on still on after hubs changed now mechanic has told me fuel gage & temp gage are reading way low side of empty any thoughts ?

The ABS light can be from any of the sensors on any hub. A good shop should be able to test each sensor. If they have no idea how have them look at this. https://www.gmforum.com/trouble-shooting-test-procedures-141/wss-wheel-spin-sensor-test-296556/ If each sensor checks out then the problem is further down and more testing is needed. Check over the wires.

ABS light on can be caused by a number of things. Bad wheel speed sensors being a major cause, but it can also be a yaw sensor, steering position sensor, electronic brake control module, or a braking system issue. Before you replace any more parts have the car scanned by a scanner that can read body codes. A dealership can do this with a Tech 2 scanner, and most transmission shops have a scanner that can read these codes. A basic scanner will not read these codes. The scan should tell you which component has failed.

mechanic called after i posted he had found wiring problem to front hub . he replaced front hubs, rotors, ceramic pads, intake manifold gaskets,valve cover gaskets,pvc.thermostat,2gallons dex-cool,napa parts, parts, tax, labor total $820.00 i give him $850.00 and big thanks about the gages when i bought the car i notice 2 small holes 1above fuel 1above temp gage mechanic seen them to he used paper clip to turn back everything is working now hope this helps somebody
