After reading some other issues reported, yes, my older bonnevilles(02) had the intermediate shaft replaced. I think they got all the kinks out on 05, as I have not had any issues yet. Or it was replaced prior to me buying the car. I did not see anything in the history via GM. I have had the car for a little over a year and have had to replace the tires and both front bearings. (Stay away from the high performance Michelin tires). It had 32K on it, and the asking price was 15,900. I paid 13,200 from a dealer, in the dead of winter. A lot of these cars are still going for the same price, a year later. All in all, the car is simply awesome.

There shouldn't be ANY issues with the plenum. There is no coolant running through it. The only thing I could see is cracking one if it was installed wrong....but installation really couldn't be any more simple.

I have to say for all the "bad" things I've heard about the Northstars over the years, I was really suprised to find how nice everything is laid out.
