Default 6.5" adapter

I've been told they can be easily made, anybody have a layout or any idea what to start from? What material to use? Would MDF suffice? I'm looking at an infinity kappa component system and want to throw in 6.5s for an upgrade vs. 5.25s w/ no midrange.

I fail at the internet.

First I spend a half hour unable to find something on the forum that haro finds in a few minutes, now you find those lol. I'm going to see what I can do, and then I may pick those up. Thanks.

I would worry that those would make the speaker stick to far out and hit the door panel. Although its been years since I had the door panels off my 95. Do you have those installed 88bonne?

no i just flush mounted the speakers on the actual door panel...once the speaker grill is on them you wont see any screws and in my opinion it looks nice compared to stock...
