This actually started as part of a larger plan to replace my Power Bass 6.5" component sets' tweeters, but then it kind of got out of control. I didn't think about if it could cause a problem, so I thought it up and asked if it'* possible. When I found out it was technically possible but a bad idea, I thought I might ask if more can be done to the setup to make it happen. There'* no real push for it - just curiosity.

Ah. So yeah, not only would you create a situation where your speakers aren't getting the same power (which in itself would make things sound funny) but you're also going to throw off the stereo imaging and soundstage big time, it'* just all around a bad idea, not to mention your amp couldn't handle the load on a single channel anyway, most likely.
