Default looking to replace the speakers in my 1999 Bonneville

Alright so I'm looking for replace the speakers in my car. The rears I know are 6x9'*. Has anybody here owned Cadence speakers? I was looking at a pair of rear deck'* and it seems fishy. http://www.amazon.com/CADENCE-COMPET...0570830&sr=8-1 . Also, the front speakers don't look like 4x6'*. When I opened the panel they looked circular and not oval shaped. What is the actual size for the front door speakers? Let me know what you think or know about Cadence. I want loudness, clarity and some bass. But I don't want a component set-up. Thanks

alright.... the rears R 6x9'* however... do u have Bose or Monsoon "Premium" sound?
the front r either 4x6'* or they will be 5 1/4" with a seperate tweeter just above it. u can tell just by the grills covering the speakers in the doors.
if they r 5 1/4 with the seperate tweeters... just replace the 5 1/4 with a quality 2 or 3way coax and leave the tweeter alone as they usually dont blow.

Now... when it comes to Cadance.. they were introduced to car audio shops in the early 2000'* (they were around a little before then but didnt really catch on) as a mid priced alternitive to Rockford, JL, ect. they have their decent equipment and they have crappy stuff (just like Pioneer, Kenwood, ect)

my uncle bought 2 12" Cadance Beast subs and a 800rms 2 channel Cadance amp quite a few years back and they were insane in his ext cab ranger, however the subs ended up blowing and the amp is still running, kind of, the set screws for the terminals have stripped out, the rca inputs have gone out, ect but the internals r still fine. so it seems to me the quality is good, but the fit and finish is questionable... I would be leary of their speakers. r u looking for budget speakers?

cadence is a very seasoned and underrated brand imo. I was gonna do an all cadence set up and was gonna look into becoming a dealer until I was introduced to german maestro. Good brand though bro. also, if you go to metra'* website it will tell you everything that you need to fit your car.

I don't believe I have a premium sound system. lol. I have the 2 grills on the door. Crutchfield asked me and still told me they were 4x6. Makes no sense. lol. I'm not looking for budget speakers..I'm just not looking to amp them in order for them to get loud and sound good. I saw the cadence and the size of the magnet and thought they'd do just that. What are good speakers that can get loud, clear, a little bass'y without being amped?

I did do that a few times...it still told me 4x6 which is weird. lol

So what you're saying is that they are good for the money? I'm looking for speakers that get loud and can stay clear. Bass is a plus but not a total necessity since I'm adding my subs in soon. What would you recommend without getting a component set up?

ive ordered a bunch of hu'* from crutchfield, they are the best if you figure in adapters and final price, and you cant beat the customer service. speakers they are too high on though.

I know their customer service is amazing. The headunit I got from Sonic was $80 cheaper than crutchfield. And good thing I got it when I did since it was discontinued. lol
