Bose Amp Wiring
Ok so i decided against putting my aftermarket HU in and im going to stick with the stock HU and just add my subs to it, from doing some research i gathered that it IS possible to just splice into the rear speakers with a line converter and hook that to my amp. I also learned that i need to splice before the bose amp, but i have no clue on which of the numerous wires going into the amp i need...can someone help me out here with specific colors, or if someone has a diagram that might be easier..

This is according to AllData.
Left Front (+) = tan
Left Front (-) = dk grn
Left Rear (+) = brn/wht
Left Rear (-) = brn
Right Rear (+) = dk blu
Right Rear (-) = blk
Right Front (+) = lt grn/blk
Right Front (-) = lt grn
These are colors of the wire harness between the head unit and the Bose amp (so they are the input to the amp). They are basically line level signals already and should not need a converter.

Awesome! thanks for the breakdown for the wires, as for the line level converter, i know that they are line level already, but i need to convert them to RCA so i can hook them to my amp...it doesnt have a line level input on it..

But it wouldn't hurt running one IMO that way you can turn down the gains a little bit and save your amp.

It is possible that some line level converters can be set up to pass the signals through without attenuation, but I am unfamiliar with the features of those products.
